Cross-Border Cooperation Slovakia Austria


1. Are you interested in cross-border cooperation with Austria?

In the program period 2007 - 2013 a financial package has been assigned to cross-border cooperation between Slovakia and Austria.

2. What is the focus of the program?

The main aim of the program is to develop the border region and to strenghten the bonds between Slovak and Austrian partners.

3. What is expected of the submitted projects?

They shall have a significant impact on the program region noticeable on both sides of the border.

4. Who qualifies as an authorized applicant?

PUBLIC SECTOR => Public institutions and Private companies with public ownership

PRIVATE SECTOR => Non-profit organizations and commercial organizations

Financial aid for applicants from the private sector will be provided after a detailed review of public interest delivered by the project.

6. Two thematic priorities

 


The project needs to be prepared in a manner to fall into just one group of activities.

7. Aid sum

Maximal financial aid provided by the European Regional Development Fund is 750.000 €, minimal amount is 25.000 €.

8. Lead partner principle

The project needs to be conducted by at least 2 partners - one from Slovakia and one from Austria.

The partner cooperation has to be proven by at least 2 of the following:

  • mutual preparation
  • mutual realization
  • mutual financing
  • mutual personnel
