With a modest delay, a call for submitting projects dedicated to small and medium enterprises with production facilities located within Bratislava region has been announced on 1st of december by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

This call of the Operational Programme Bratislava Region is the only relevant programme that supports investments in production processes in the Bratislava Region.

Among the most interesting topics of the announced call belong:

• Purchasing of new production technologies (replacement of obsolete technologies with new technologies)
• Purchasing of IT equipment for companies (HW, SW, LAN networks, e-shop,  web, accounting software, warehouse software, ...)
• Implementation of quality management systems, certification and accreditation
• Renewable energy sources utilization
• Support of investments in  facilities for energy or heat production
• Protection of intangible rights, research and development

The call will expire on 11th of April 2011. The projects can be submitted continuously from 1st of February 2011 until 11th April 2011 without the necessity to reserve a term for project submission.  The maximum amount of subsidy is 200.000 € for production technologies, 75.000 € for IT technologies, 100.000 € for ISO implementation. The support intensity is 95%, so the need for cofinancing is only 5% high.
